Makati Festivals and Events

Makati is not just a city where businesses thrive and where people stroll among tall skyscrapers too busy to talk to anyone. Makati celebrates festivals annually and among these are Ganito Kami Noon, the Xong Di Festival and the Bailes Delos Arcos. These three festivals have different purposes, are presented differently but they all aim to bring the community together and to instill the Filipino values to each and every one.

Butuan Festivals and Events

The Adlaw Hong Butuan is a fairly new Butuan festival which this locality only started celebrating after it was declared a highly urbanized city. Butuan festivals showcase the diversity of Butuan’s culture and its rich history through a series of activities that are organized way before the actual event. The Kahimunan Festival is an occasion of merriment and this religious event has been celebrated as far back as the time of the Spanish occupation of the country.
