Some Tourist Spots in the Philippines
Are you interested in traveling? If yes, have you ever been to Philippines? Do you have interest in visiting the Philippines? If not you should as this is one of the best vacation spots in the world.
Here are some tips for those who want to travel around the Philippines.
Since the Philippines are considered to be an archipelago, most of the tourism spots are near the beach. There are many beautiful tourism spots in Philippines, such as Puerto Galera, Amanpulo and Boracay.
Puerto Galera is located in the northern part of the Mindoro islands. It is about 130 km from Manila and 14 nautical miles from Batangas. The bay’s area is 4.2 km long. There are 2 small islands on the north and northwest, Medio and Paiquian.
These two islands are protected Muelle Bay, the most famous bay in Puerto Galera, from the open sea and that makes Puerto Galera as one of the world’s safest natural harbors. The only route to get there is via land road, from Manila to Batangas then from Batangas use ferryboat to get there.
From Batangas to Puerto Galera, you will need 1 to 2 hours traveling time using a ferryboat. For those who love water sports, Puerto Galera will be the best place to do or learn them. Puerto Galera offers many kind of sport. Such as, scuba-diving, swimming, snorkeling, boating, sailing, kayaking, surfing and fishing.
The second famous beach in the Philippines is Amanpulo. If you are the type of a person who wants to spend in an idyllic exclusive tropical island then Amanpulo is the right place for you.
Amanpulo is located on a private island in Pamalican. It is surrounded by white sand, a crystal clear sea and coral reefs. The weather is tropical which is divided into two seasons, dry season and rainy season.
The coolest month is January with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and the hottest month is May with an average temperature of 29 degrees Celsius.
Just like Puerto Galera, Amanpulo also has a lot of water sports activity such as sailing, windsurfing, boat trips, rowing, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking.
Last but not the least is Boracay. Boracay is one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the Philippines. The long white beaches of Boracay rival other popular beaches in South East Asia even in the Caribbean.
Boracay’s beauty is not only measured by its beautiful sunsets, its night life is also exciting and full of different kinds of entertainment such as live bands, bars and others.
Boracay is a one hour flight away from Manila. There are different beaches in Boracay like White Beach, Puka Beach and the Baling Hai Beach. White Beach has the most beautiful white sand in Boracay and is also the commercial center of Boracay.
Puka Beach is located on the northern part of the Island. With its white sands and azure water, not to mention it being less crowded than White Beach, its beauty attracts a lot of tourists. It takes 10-15 minutes riding a tricycle from central White beach to get there. Puka beach is also a good spot for a picnic.
Baling Hai Beach is located north of Diniwid beach. You can enjoy different kinds of water sports and a very peaceful environment. If you want to go to a peaceful and quiet place, avoid staying at the center of White Beach. You can go to the north or south to find more relaxing spots.
