will it be better if the Philippines be the 51st state of America?

I'am a graduate of FEU and an activist and now live here in the US. I came home as a balic bayan last 2001 and stayed there in the Phil. for 6 mo. and traveled almost all around (Luzon, Visaya, and Mindanao) and this is the time that i have seen that we dont have anymore chance to get better. And since the US is the one who though us to be like this (Pilipino americanise people) then it is but proper for the goverment of US to make us their 51st state. I know both sides (Phi.&US} will not like this idea because our politicians in the Phil will lost their power and the US will not agree because we will just be a burden to them. But, if this suggestion will materialize then every Pilipino will have a better life. ------

no i think that would cause major catastrophe the last state to join was hawai more that 50 years ago i think people arent goingt o get used to another state just like that ------
