Default Bad experiance in Philippines, please help me?

ok this was way back in 2004. I'm filipino but raised here in the US. I'm not mayabang, like many filipino teens/kids here in the US. I was born to love my country. Not the types of kids who claim they love their country and rarely know anything about the culture.when I was in the philippines in my 3rd year high school, I lived in Davao. I also attended one of the"top"schools there too. I had tons of bad experiance. What bother me the most was I notice that the girls have this somewhat"looking at the mirror"every class break, or lunch time, and like half of the class girls or even whole at times would go in. there is nothing wrong with being girly, its just that its some what paranoid. I also see alot of students, especially girls really try to speak english in an"american"way, some even try not to even speak tagalog or visaya. No more likely act"western american". They even try to start a fight with me and my sister.even though we didn't do anything. And get this, When we do the pledge, I was surprized that out of a thousand students, only a few, not even a quarter of the students didn't sing. When I'm here in the US, most of my life, kids still do it, even if they don't want to. I'm upset how much the kids don't at least show some respect.and when I ask who and was Jose Rizal was (even I did knew that was the national hero). And most have said he is the national hero, but don't even know the reason why he was the national hero. While the rest said i don't know.wow........I have more to say, but it shocks me that the youth has no idea of there own country.I wish more of the filipinos take pride of there country, I hear it all the time they are proud but can't even identify what is philippines all about.first off, I'M NOT EXPECTING THEM ANYTHING. I just wish that at least they show some respect to others and have at least a pride for culture. and I'm not bossing them around. Plus they start fights on me and my sister for their thinking"I'm rich and I'm mix"blah blah blah. Heck I'm very quite, I can barely say a peep.hoy! alam ko rin mag-tagalog. Dahil hindi ako ng"speak in my own language"doesn't mean hindi ako marunong. why won't you guys at least tell me one good reason and stop giving me some bad crap. Even if that is Philippines, the youth should be still be taught to have some respect on others berfore they start ranting.Wow, did u even read my personal experiance? I was just asking why is the youth like that to me.And jordan your right, but thats not what really my point. This is only about Philippines I am talking about.First off, I have been bullied there and I got myself hurt. just because I didn't mention it doesn't mean I have to. And yes I still consider this a bad experiance ------
