s it safe for a middle age Filipina woman to go to Puerto Galera, Philippines alone?

I had lots of problems to sort out and I just need to take a vacation for a few days alone. I'd really appreciate if someone could advise me about this or if anyone knew of a safer place to go. I'm on a tight budget. I'll not be able to afford hotels or any expensive place to go. It has been so long that I dream of taking a vacation by the beach alone.Thanks in advance ------

puerto galera is a expensive place to go i can recommend you better try davao city talikod island or samal island which your budget can afford those place i mentioned very good and affoedable i been there just last month.. ------

I think that puerto Gallera is a bit expensive but somehow it would be worth it cause I think it's the best place to spend some time alone...I mean, it's not crowded like Boracay. I think that Boracay is cheaper than puerto gallera but it certainly is noisier and more crowded. you don't want that kinda thing to ruin your supposedly quiet and reflective time right? It's ok to be there alone too... I think it's safe. Or if you want cheaper but beautiful beaches you can try going to Punta Bulata..it's gorgeous beach locates in the Neg. Occidental Island. It's quiet and still not too commercialized. Check it out...^^ ------

I beg to disagree. Puerto Galera is not as expensive as you think. And It's actually cheaper than going to Boracay. First up, if you're in Manila, you need not buy a plane ticket to go to Davao or Bora.There are also cheap lodging you can get. That's with a/c and a good bathroom. I've been there last year for a weekend and it wasn't that harsh on the wallet. People there are friendly and accomodating.So to answer you question, yes it is safe to go there alone. ------
