What is the best way to ship household goods to the Philippines?

I will retire next August and want to move to Cebu City , Philippines. I want to know what is the best and least expensive way to do this. My wife and Daughter are Philippine Citizens, I am looking to ship tools, some houshold items and maybe a car. ------

Rent space in a container that going that way. It may take quite a while, but that should be the best bet.You might consider selling most of it and buying new/used in Cebu. ------
