How can I get a dog shipped from the Philippines to the United States?

What are the laws and rules on shipping a dog (English Bulldog) from the Philippines to the U.S. Is there a quarantine involved? How much are the rates? ------

There is a quarantine involved. Depending on the country, the quarantine will vary. You should contact the US Embassy in the Philippines to get a better answer. They too should be able to give you the rates for bringing the animal into the country. Keep in mind that the quarantine could take many months. You would be responsible for paying for all of its food and the expense for the workers to keep it caged and clean up after it. They will not play with your dog, it will become bored and may have a totally different personality than what he/she before the move.Good Luck. ------

Better ask both the U.S. Embassy and the airlines! Different airlines have different policy! They might have an accredited veterinarian who would be asking for vaccinations of your dog like rabies vaccine!My friends dog is well travelled. The dog is with her whenever she travels to and from the US and the Phiippines! ------
