Default How can I ship a car from Manila to Palawan?

I want to buy a jeep here in Manila and take it to Puerto Princesa PalawanYES I know about RORO, but Super Ferry is booked way in advance and there is NO info I can find on the internet. I've been to many ferry offices and they all give out cargo phone numbers that are either not in service or just a recording with no solid info as to where to go, how much, what the requirements are, etc.etc.. ------

If they don't accept it as rolling cargo, try shipping it by using a 20 footer container. If the CBM of the Jeep is 25-30CBM then it will fit into that container (L x W x H) You can book with Lorenzo, NMC container lines, Sulpicio??? (hehe =P) but the best will be Aboitiz. Its best to seek the services of a freight forwarder because they would know how to lash the jeep inside the container so it would stay still. No papers necessary, they will just check on the registration papers to view and record the specs of the jeep. When stuffing inside the container, be reminded to drain the gas tank and remove the battery. If using a container will prove to be complicated, go for the rolling cargo terms, just be patient and wait for Aboitiz.Goodluck! ------
