American traveling to Mindanao!! How worried should I be?

I am traveling to Davao City for two days with my Auntie and cousin. We are all American but will be meeting up with family down there. I am really worried. Any advice on keeping a low profile? I am half filipino, so I am hoping that I can blend in somewhat. Any tips will help!!! ------

Yes it's very safe. Although if you wear revealing and sexy clothes you'd frequently get stares and some unflattering remarks. Aside from that, you'd go there unnoticed and in peace.
