Default What is your opinion on the vigilante style of dealing with criminals in Cebu?

This style has evoked protests from the human rights group.Bopols, I respect your opinion. From a Christian's point of view, it is not right to take the life of another. But these criminals have a long list of prison records to fill a book. What about their victims? I and many other Cebuanos (the silent majority) have heaved a sigh of relief, confident that the streets are safe for us once more. And may it stay that way for a very long time. ------

Vigilante style dealing with suspected criminals (because they have never been convicted) is abhorrent, not just in Cebu but anywhere.Recall the days when Jun Pala was being glorified in Davao for singlehandedly"handling"supposed outlaws. This technique does not last very long because a righteous person will raise a howl of protests one day, and one day people will realize that it is really really wrong. It is diametrically opposed to Christian values - - - these people should not take the lives of God's creatures into their hands. And extrajudicially at that. ------

it started that way. vigilante style as you call it. but its money making now. a person contact the middle man, 20K for ordinary person, higher for an enemy, much higher for a competitor. if you want your enemy dead theres a gun for hire. ------
