lately the weather has become so unpredictable.. we were not expecting too much rain in December but apparently it did..April is a hot humid month but should be very good for sea side trips and vacations..July and August is already a rainy season and you might get caught by the hassle of traveling wet.. lol it depends on what activities you are planning to engage yourselves in..as long as you guys are together, i guess it woudnt matter at all..Philippines is a very nice place.. nice people.. i wish i could see the country anytime soon.. =) ------

You got it right John. April in Cagayan de Oro City is dry and warm. June, July and August is the peak of the rainy season. However the city is not visited directly by any typhoon. August is a festive month in Cagayan de Oro. Every August 28th, the city celebrates its annual festival in honor of Saint Augustine. Again check my personal website for more info. By the way, internet connections in the city is still slow. See you around ------

CDO is relatively typhoon-free. So anytime of the year is perfect here. There are some rain showers occassionally but overall, you'd enjoy your stay here regardless of the month.
