Which is the best island in the Philippines other than Bohol for me?

I am Australian Filipino and from Bohol and i am wondering which is a quiet place and i was looking for an island with a bit more city life. ------

Definitely Cebu! There is a small island off the coast of Cebu which is called Mactan and is connected by two bridges and Mactan even has it's own airport. There are beautiful resorts along the coast. It is very quiet but very beautiful there. I can recommend the Maribago Blue Water Resort. ------

7000 island in the philippines. You should be able to find 1 quiet one. My wife is from bohol, and it very peaceful. So I am retiring there. Maybe in a few more years. Check of the group and see if you can get better answers. ------

Boracay is suppose to be one of the best beaches in the world. I've heard a lot of good things about it.Cebu also has a good reputation. Have fun!! ------
