My wife used to live there, she says it's very nice there. We stayed in Bohol for a week and it was beautiful. Clear water, and you don't have to worry about getting your head chopped off. I bought a very good book titled"Traveler's Philippine Companion"at Books a Million. In it there are resorts and phone numbers for Borcay. The book says the tourists out number the residents. The book is a"must have"if you go there regularly. After all, there are only 7000,100 islands in the Philipines at high tide. The book is by Kirsten Ellis and packed full of nice photos.
